Reflections from Ann Marie

I remembered when this great man gave this speech, and how it resonated within me. If I know me, I was probably watching it with tears streaming down my face.

Remember these?

I remember having a ton of these things, and thought they were the coolest thing since sliced bread. The only thing that annoyed me about them is that they sometimes would get out of the coverings and cut my wrist. But, like I said I absolutely loved them.

When I was a kid, I just loved anything jelly. Two jelly things in particular that I loved the most were “Jelly Bracelets” and “Jelly Shoes”, and while I’d hate the shoes today (I’m not a kid anymore, I need comfort in my shoes). I still think that the bracelets are cool. I remember getting hundreds of them and stringing them together and using them as jump ropes, and other “I have too much time on my hands” types of things that kids like to do.
