Ronald Reagan’s Speech After the Shuttle Disaster
I remembered when this great man gave this speech, and how it resonated within me. If I know me, I was probably watching it with tears streaming down my face.

I mentioned on the LeAnn Rimes post about Sarah Hughes getting the gold in the 2002 Winter Olympics. Well, I wanted to share that performance, and here it is.
It’s just brilliant…
Here’s the video as she gets her gold medal. It’s just so precious watching her sing the national anthem as it was played. What’s even more stunning is that home video of her at the end where she says that she’s going to go to the Olympics and win a gold medal.
Another one from Tiffany
All This Time
I was a huge Tiffany fan back in the day…
I especially loved this song…Could Have Been:
I don’t think I’ll ever forget this Olympics. The one that Sarah Hughes came from 4th after the short program to vault to the top winning Gold on her own soil. What a spectacular games. We can thank in large part Mitt Romney for it, with him being Chairman of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee. What a brilliant games just five months after the most horrific terrorist attack in our country’s history.
Check out my friend Crystal’s website for this Friday Funny. It’s a Seinfeld Classic.
I absolutely loved this song when it came out, and to this day I have every single word memorized. This video is something that a person made with the song.
I first heard this song when Hillary Clinton had this contest for what music should be her campaign’s theme song. I’m far from being a Hillary fan, but I just fell in love with this song. Even now, months later I can still listen to it over and over again.
I love Gordon Lightfoot, especially “The Edmund Fitzgerald”. I found this song from 1974 called Sundown, I hope you like it.
